Every year the MJH Choir students travel to nursing homes to share the holiday spirit with their music. This year's trips will be taking place on Monday, December 16th and Tuesday, December 17th. Half of the students will attend Monday's trip, while the other half will attend on Tuesday. When details have been finalized they will be posted in the Documents section of the website and emailed out to all choir parents.
Students who are thinking about participating in the Solo/Ensemble Contest should request music from Mrs. Cheney by Friday, November 8th. Students taking private lessons should consult their private teachers on a music choice for this event. Registration for Solo/Ensemble Contest will be due Monday, December 16th.

If you are interested in purchasing some Mokena Music Spirit Wear for your student, please fill out the order form and return it to your student's music director by Friday, November 8th. A copy of this form has been sent out over email and has been made available in the documents section of this
Please help support the Mokena Music Program by ordering some pies for the November Market Day sale! The Music Department is hoping to raise enough money to purchase a new piano!!!
Pie Sale forms are due to the Mokena Music Directors by Wednesday, November 13th. Students who sell pies will be entered into a raffle for prizes, such as spirit wear, iTunes gift cards, and a grand prize of an iPod nano! All students who sell pies will be invited to attend a movie party in the MJH band room.
The day to pick up your pies is Wednesday, November 20
